Sideloading an Android package is a system-level decision. This guide is for people who already intend to inspect a third-party file. It does not recommend turning security off, and it does not supply a binary.
Safety note. Unofficial APK files can request extra permissions, bundle unwanted software, or impersonate a familiar name. Prefer Play Store apps and licensed sports services. If you still inspect a third-party file, scan it first and read every system prompt.
Before anything else
Prefer a Play Store sports app or the licensed broadcaster for your country. If you continue, use a phone you can factory-reset, not the one that holds your banking apps. Confirm the file name, origin, and checksum if a publisher you trust published one. This website still does not host that file.
Install sequence
- Obtain the package from a source you actually trust. The Download Source control on this site is a placeholder until a URL is set in the Customizer. A familiar brand on a random domain is not trust.
- Scan the file. Use a current antivirus or a reputable scanner before you tap it. A clean result is not a warranty; a dirty result is a hard stop.
- Open the downloaded APK from your browser’s download list or Files app. Android will name the installer (Chrome, Files, and so on).
- Read the security prompt. Modern Android asks you to allow installs from that one app, not to disable Play Protect globally. Leave Play Protect on.
- Grant the source only if you still want the install. You can revoke that permission afterwards in Settings → Apps → special access → install unknown apps.
- Install, then open the app. If Play Protect warns you, read the warning. Dismissing it is a choice you own.
- Review permissions one by one. A sports scoreboard has little reason to demand contacts, SMS, or accessibility control. Deny what the job does not need.
- Configure only what you understand. Skip overlays, device-admin, or “boost” toggles you cannot explain in a sentence.
Troubleshooting
The APK will not install
The package may be corrupt, incomplete, or built for a different CPU/ABI. Download again over a stable connection. If Android reports a parse error, stop; a broken file is not improved by disabling more checks.
The download interrupted
Resume only from the same source if your browser supports it. Otherwise delete the partial file and start over. Do not stitch files from two websites.
Incompatible version
Public pages disagree on the minimum Android release. If the OS rejects the package, that is the end of the path for that file—not a cue to install an even older, unsigned clone.
Installation blocked
Play Protect or your manufacturer layer may block the package. That is a signal, not an annoyance. Do not hunt for guides that tell you to switch those layers off.
The app crashes on open
Clear the app’s storage once. If it still dies, uninstall it. Crash loops after a sideload are a common malware or mismatch symptom.
A stream does not load
Assume the source is down, geo-limited, or unlicensed rather than “your phone is too slow.” Try an official app. A VPN does not make an illegitimate stream legitimate.
Updates
Sideloaded apps do not update through Google Play. Each new file is another trust decision. If a popup demands a fresh APK from a shortened link, treat it as hostile until proven otherwise.
