A scoreboard needs a network connection and, sometimes, notifications. It does not need your SMS inbox. When an unofficial sports APK asks for accessibility access, contacts, or the ability to install further packages, the feature list on a landing page is no longer the interesting part.
Match the permission to the job
Storage access can be legitimate while you pick a file. Overlay permission is a red flag unless you can explain a tiny floating widget you actually want. Device-admin or accessibility is a hard no for a match board. Deny first; the OS will ask again if the app truly cannot run.
Why dump sites stay quiet
Marketing copy prefers “lightweight and safe.” Permission screens are where the product tells on itself. The APK overview refuses to launder those screens into a feature grid.
What to do instead
Install sports software from Google Play or the App Store. Those listings show permission groups up front and can be torn down from the same screen. If a sideloaded file already has extra access, uninstall it rather than hunting through settings for every toggle.
